Zoey struggles to focus on finals at the semester, and the season, draw to a close.

Zoey (Yara Shahidi) and Nomi (Emily Arlook) both test their limits in “Wild’n Cuz I’m Young”, the tenth episode in Grown-ish‘s second season.

It’s the last big party of the semester, but instead of enjoying it, Zoey is on a strict timeline due to her final in the morning. Like a late night snooze button, Zoey keeps pushing her departure time ten minutes later.

Elsewhere, Nomi is testing the boundaries of her new relationship with her professor — the two have been spending more and more time together, culminating in a kiss in her professor’s car.

Ana (Francia Raisa) and Aaron (Trevor Jackson) finally show up at the big party, where Zoey continues to procrastinate studying for her chemistry final in the morning. She’s lost her keycard and can’t even get back into their apartment to study by 1:30 a.m. She returns to the party to retrieve a key card from Jazz (Chloe Bailey), who is having a social media meltdown over her ex-boyfriend — live on Instagram.

Zoey finally makes it back to the apartment, but she can’t focus due to Nomi’s negative influence. Nomi talks her out of studying to YOLO — at 2:30 a.m. When she ultimately arrives at the final a mere five hours later, she struggles to even complete the test and resorts to cheating of the guy in front of her to complete the test.

Ana’s guilt overwhelms her, and she attempts to come clean to Zoey about her relationship with Aaron. But a surprise message from Zoey’s chemistry professor interrupts her confession. Whether or not Zoey will be held accountable for her cheating remains to be revealed in next week’s episode.

Grown-ish continues its episode 10, second season Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Freeform. Season 3 has been confirmed by Freeform.
